Welcome to Black Thread Co. We take pride in offering made-to-measure, handcrafted clothing that is tailored specifically for you. Please read our terms and conditions carefully before placing an order.
COLOUR VARIATION
Due to differences in screen resolutions, lighting, and the handmade dyeing process, the colour of the final garment may vary slightly from what is displayed on our website or social media. Such variations are natural and not considered defects. Additional pieces ordered at a later date may also have a slight colour variation. This is to be expected when ordering any online products.
HAND EMBROIDERY VARIATIONS
All hand-embroidered outfits are crafted by skilled artisans, making each piece unique. Slight variations in embroidery patterns, stitch density, and thread colours are natural and add to the charm of handmade craftsmanship. These differences are not considered defects.
NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES
As each garment is custom-made to order, we do not offer refunds or exchanges. Please ensure that you provide accurate measurements and specifications at the time of order placement.
We strongly advise that additional margin is added to your measurements as it’s easier to make adjustment and in most cases you have the additional embroidery in tact. We are not obliged to do any adjustments for you.
Please be mindful that as a second fitting is not possible with online purchases there may be minor adjustments. This can be adjusted by yourself or a tailor of your choice.
We try our very best for you to have the best fit but some adjustments may be required on occasions due to change in body measurements from when submitted to when the outfit arrives. This can be between 4-6 weeks and longer.
REPAIRS & REPLACEMENTS
If an item is found to have a manufacturing fault we will need to know within 12 hours of delivery. We will assess the case and revert back to you promptly. The item should not have been worn. We will know if it has been worn.
Please note, we only consider products faulty if they have a severe defect or damage making it unwearable. Items that are damaged due to normal wear are not considered damaged or faulty products.
ORDER MODIFICATIONS & CANCELLATIONS
Once an order has been placed, it cannot be modified or canceled, as production begins immediately upon submission.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
To ensure the longevity of your garment, please follow the provided care instructions. Hand-dyed fabrics may experience slight colour bleeding in the initial washes.
Our garments should be dry cleaned and steam ironed on low heat.
